Overview:
**Position contingent upon contract award**
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to support our government customer. This role acts as the secondary government contact, stepping in during the Project Manager's absence, and focuses on operational oversight, compliance, and staff development. The Assistant Project Manager will contribute to efficient 24/7/365 call center operations, ensuring trauma-informed support for UAC and stakeholders while aligning with child safety and anti-trafficking priorities.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the government contact during the Project Manager's absence, handling contract-related communications and escalations.
Oversee contract compliance, aligning call center operations with ORR policies, procedures, and requirements (e.g., family reunification, sexual abuse prevention under 45 CFR Part 411).
Ensure timely performance of tasks and deliverables, including quality control, reporting (e.g., notifications of concern, case alerts, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports), and safety/well-being calls.
Collaborate with ORR stakeholders to resolve concerns, enhance service delivery, and improve call center effectiveness.
Lead training for call center staff on child welfare, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and related areas.
Support supervision of staff, including background checks, training evaluations, and performance monitoring.
Assist in risk mitigation, data security (e.g., PII protection, encryption), and confidentiality enforcement.
Participate in meetings and document proceedings for government approval.
Contribute to database management, referrals (e.g., to PRS, OTIP, RPB), safety plans, and case flagging for concerns like abuse or trafficking.
Aid in subcontractor management, records management, and transition planning.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or a similar field (e.g., psychology, counseling, or other relevant behavioral science with clinical training and experience).
Minimum of five (5) years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience working with youth and trauma-informed care.
Licensure in social work or a similar field.
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
Ability to pass ORR-required background investigations and updates every five years.
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and at least 18 years of age.
Compliance with prohibited hiring policies.
Availability for non-standard hours in a 24/7/365 environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with immigrant populations and federal humanitarian programs.
Familiarity with ORR tools and regulations (e.g., UAC Portal, FISMA).
Strong supervisory and crisis intervention skills.
