What You’ll Do

As a Camp Site Director , you’ll lead an engaging, inclusive, and high-energy summer program that fosters fun, creativity, and skill-building . Your responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily camp operations to ensure a safe, structured, and exciting environment.
  • Leading and mentoring counselors and Counselors-in-Training (CITs).
  • Communicating with families , providing updates, and addressing concerns professionally.
  • Problem-solving on the go , adjusting schedules, resolving conflicts, and leading activities.
  • Creating a positive camp culture that promotes kindness, inclusion, and personal growth.
  • Manage supplies and inventory, troubleshooting material needs and ensuring all resources are available.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Leadership Experience – At least 3 years of cumulative experience working in summer camps, education, after-school programs, or youth development.

Schedule and Requirements

  • Dates of Employment: June 16 to August 1, 2025
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and up to date on all immunizations.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs , respond quickly to emergencies, and work in an active, outdoor environment .
  • First Aid & CPR certification required (training reimbursement provided).

  • Paid training (18–20 hours, including leadership, classroom management, and DEI).
