We're looking for a talented Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant to join our team—remotely! You'll play a vital role in supporting patients with their prescription refill needs, ensuring they receive timely and accurate care. This is a full-time, work-from-home position where you can truly make a difference in people's lives.

What You'll Do:

Prescription Support: Receive and respond to prescription refill requests via phone, email, fax, and other communication channels.
Verification: Verify the accuracy and validity of refill requests, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
Processing: Prepare and dispense prescription refills efficiently and accurately, following established protocols.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, offering clear and helpful information.
Data Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators related to refill processing, sharing findings and identifying trends.
Schedule Adherence: Maintain productivity and efficiency by adhering to assigned schedules and quality metrics.
Administrative Support: Assist clinical staff and managers with special projects and reports related to medication refill programs.
Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows and improve patient care.

What You'll Bring:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy.
Medicare Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part D rules, particularly pharmacy record review, claims, billing, and reimbursement.
HIPAA Knowledge: Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements.
Medicare Knowledge: Working knowledge of Medicare Part B and Part D coverage guidelines and payment methodologies.
Language Skills: Proficient bilingual skills (Spanish and English - read, write, and speak).
Technical Skills: Basic PC and keyboarding skills. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, and email.
Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required. Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification required.
