About the Role:
We’re looking for Seasonal Field Inspectors to support agricultural field scouting and seed production activities during the peak growing season. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, collect valuable crop data, and be part of a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
All training is provided — no previous scouting experience required!
What You’ll Do:
✅ Meet daily at the Waco, NE site at 7:00 AM
✅ Drive your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) to field sites up to 1 hour away
✅ Walk multiple miles per day through fields, collecting data on silk % and pollen counts using a company-issued iPhone
✅ Enter accurate field data and observations
✅ Assist with seed cleaning, labeling, packaging, and warehouse tasks as needed
✅ Support planting, pollinating, and hand harvest tasks
✅ Follow all safety and SOP protocols
What You Bring:
✔️ High school diploma or GED (or related experience)
✔️ Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in various weather
✔️ Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
✔️ Comfortable using smartphones and following instructions in English
✔️ Detail-oriented and dependable
✔️ Basic mechanical or equipment troubleshooting skills (a plus)
✔️ Familiarity with Excel or inventory systems (preferred)
Additional Details:
📌 Mileage is only reimbursed from the Waco site to assigned fields — commute to/from the Waco site is not reimbursed
📌 May require extended hours during peak season
📌 All necessary equipment and training provided
