Tree Ring Digital, a top-ranked digital marketing agency based in Denver, CO, is in search of a skilled, self-driven, and proactive Digital Marketing intern to become a valuable member of our expanding and cooperative team. We are looking for an individual capable of supporting the marketing team through tasks such as scheduling marketing meetings, configuring reporting and Google accounts, conducting keyword research, and crafting marketing content. The ideal candidate should possess the agility to seamlessly transition between projects, adapting to our dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

About our dream intern:

This individual is excited to learn more about digital marketing strategy, running digital marketing campaigns, and analyzing reports. This candidate will gain hands-on experience with reputation marketing, managing directory listings, handling social media accounts, generating reports, scheduling meetings, and conducting research. In a dynamic project environment, the candidate will gain exposure to various marketing tactics while collaborating with the team on deliverables and meeting deadlines.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Managing multiple projects at one time, providing assistance in marketing and industry research, delivering marketing reports, discovering internal marketing efforts and lead generation, and organizing tasks, meeting notes, and project status updates.

Requirements, Skills, Abilities, Education:

• Ability to communicate efficiently to the business development team.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills (phone, email, and face-to-face).
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Passion for technology and all things digital, trends vs. fads, algorithm changes, emerging technologies and if/when/how to test and adopt new platforms, tactics and trends.
• High level of:
  • Attention to detail (including accurate data entry skills).
  • Self-motivation.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time, switch gears, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take work direction well & follow specific processes and procedures (once taught).
  • Work well independently, as well as in a collaborative environment.
  • Utilize the correct tools, resources, and team members to find answers to client questions.

What We Offer the Right Candidate:

• $20-22/hour DOE.

This offers a part-time hybrid work setting, with standard hours set for Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, providing flexibility as needed. We encourage a commitment of at least 12 hours weekly for interns to derive maximum benefits from the experience. While we are open to training the right candidate in certain aspects of the role, we prefer individuals who possess a genuine appreciation for the art of digital marketing and demonstrate outstanding communication skills with the team.
