**Location:** Freeman-Assisted Living **Worker Type:** Regular **Work Shift:** Afternoon Shift (United States of America) Freeman Regional Health Service is looking for individuals to join our growing, team-oriented organization. **Position Highlights** **Dining Room Assistant - Evening Shift - PRN** **Worker Type:** PRN **Work Shift:** Evening Shift (3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) **PRN Requirements:** Within a 6 week period, work 2 shifts which includes 1 day of weekend shift. **Brief Overview** If you like working with senior citizens, you will love working at Freeman Regional Assisted Living! As a Dining Room Assistant, you will provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude while serving resident meals and beverages. In a food and services role, you can deliver a great service experience with delicious meals and a positive attitude. **What you will do:** + Prepare food items for assigned area. + Meet standards, established by Leader, for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency. + Follow extended menu and standardized recipes. + Serve meals/beverages with attention to temperature maintenance. + Mentor new employees and assists with their orientation. + Lead, by example, following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards. **Required Education,** **License/Certification,** **or Work Experience:** + Must be 16 years of age or older + High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics such as food safety, preferred. **Essential Qualifications:** The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
