Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Quality Management for a specialty hospital that provides critical care typically found in traditional hospitals or intensive care units but for an extended recovery period. This is an onsite position, will pay for travel and boarding if you reside over 50 miles away. Potential to turn into a full-time salaried role if you live in the area or are willing to relocate permanently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the hospital’s performance improvement program to ensure operational excellence.
• Provide education and training to medical staff, hospital teams, and governing bodies.
• Lead performance improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives across the hospital.
• Serve as a key resource for the administrative team, department managers, and medical staff.
• Manage clinical risk and support department leaders in preparing for medical staff committee reviews.
• Ensure hospital readiness for regulatory body surveys, such as JCAHO, State Licensing Review, and CMS Validation.
• Maintain oversight of all hospital-wide performance improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• CPHQ certification preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Quality and/or Risk Management within a hospital setting
