As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring a Dispatcher in our Richmond, CA branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Assist in building daily schedules and coordinating with maintenance and operations for equipment and labor availability. Complete daily work schedules and dispatch equipment and crews.
  • Communication & Documentation: Improve inter-departmental communication to ensure job order accuracy, communicate equipment status and issues with Service and Branch Managers, and maintain equipment and employee certifications and file documents.
  • Dispatch & Timekeeping: Dispatch equipment and personnel, keeping the dispatch board updated. Maintain NexGen schedule and job tickets, ensuring accurate timekeeping for equipment and personnel.
  • Permits & Customer Interaction: Order transportation permits and generate FAA filings as needed. Receive and address calls from customers and employees.
  • Administrative Support: Perform tasks pertaining to payroll and data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years of dispatching experience in construction or equipment-related industry.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work 40+ hours per week, dependent on customer or project need.

Physical Requirements

  • Driving: Must be able to drive and travel in a vehicle. For the purposes of driving, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Physical Conditions: Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
