For over 10 years, Local Big Brothers has been Flushing's trusted name in home repair. We specialize in roofing, siding, door and window installation, and comprehensive handyman services. We're a small, skilled team (3-5 professionals) who take pride in our work and our reputation in the community. We're growing, and we're looking for experienced tradespeople who share our commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Install and repair residential and/or commercial roofing systems (shingles, Rubber, TPO, underlayment, flashing, gutters)
• Install vinyl, fiber cement, and wood siding on residential properties
• Perform thorough inspections and provide accurate assessments for homeowners
• Communicate clearly with customers about project progress, timelines, and any issues
• Work collaboratively with our small team to complete projects efficiently and to our quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and follow all safety protocols
• Occasionally assist with door, window, and general handyman projects as needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of hands-on roofing and/or siding installation experience
• Solid understanding of residential roofing systems, materials, and best practices
• Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Flushing and surrounding areas
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication skills—you'll interact with homeowners regularly
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day

Preferred:

• Experience with multiple siding types (vinyl, fiber cement, wood)
• Knowledge of door and window installation
• Familiarity with local building codes
• Own basic hand tools
