Full Time Pre-K Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead Pre-K teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
• Help children develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through guided activities and free play
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's progress and development
• Assist with daily tasks such as meal times, nap times, and maintaining a tidy classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the Pre-K program

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Current CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
