What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mastering the grill to prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and sandwiches to perfection
• Prepping and marinating ingredients to ensure every dish is flavorful and fresh
• Ensuring every plate meets our high standards for taste, temperature, and presentation
• Coordinating with the kitchen team to keep service smooth and timely
• Keeping your station clean, organized, and up to food safety standards
• Staying up-to-date on our menu and daily specials so you can answer questions or accommodate requests
• Monitoring inventory and communicating supply needs to the kitchen manager
• Pitching in wherever needed—whether it’s plating, prep, or helping teammates

Requirements:

• Culinary Skills : Strong cooking and grilling skills are essential. Prior experience as a grill cook or line cook is required.
• Food Safety Knowledge : Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations is crucial to ensure food quality and guest safety.
• Physical Endurance: The ability to stand for extended periods, work in a hot kitchen environment, and lift heavy pots and pans is necessary.
• Attention to Detail: Grill cooks must be detail-oriented, ensuring that each dish is cooked to perfection and consistently meets quality standards.
• Communication Skills : Effective communication with team members and sometimes guests is important.
• Stress Management: The kitchen environment can be fast-paced and high-pressure, so the ability to handle stress and stay focused is essential.
• Availability: Grill cooks often work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
