Job Description

Position Summary

An organization in the food manufacturing industry is seeking an entry-level Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting new hire processes, monitoring compliance, and handling various administrative tasks related to human resources.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, and motivated to build a career in HR within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Organize and update employee records and manage data in HR systems.
  • Track deadlines for training completions, certifications, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in compiling reports and preparing for audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all procedures follow current laws and internal policies.

Employee Engagement & Support

  • Provide assistance with general HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and recognition efforts.
  • Support in addressing minor policy or attendance-related matters.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist with job postings, screening applications, and interview scheduling.
  • Help manage onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is properly completed.
  • Maintain and update orientation materials and compliance records.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in human resources, administration, or a similar field.
  • Associate degree in Business, HR, or a related area is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information responsibly.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong advantage.
