Because of the diversity of our clients, the technician will be required to work both on residential and commercial equipment. This equipment can be located on roof tops, in penthouses, in basement or crawl spaces, ceiling spaces, attics and quite often in an easily accessible mechanical room or closet. This requires the individual to be limber enough to climb stairs, roof hatch ladders, step and extension ladders, crawl (in crawl spaces) and stoop or kneel as required to service the various components of the equipment. This also requires the individual to be able to reach overhead, pull or push and lift as much as 50 lbs on an occasional basis as required. Our ladders are commercial grade and are rated at 300 pounds. Working on roof tops, from ladders and in crawl spaces is common to the trade.
