Information Assurance Forensic Analyst  

The Information Assurance Forensic Analyst investigates cybersecurity incidents, analyzes digital evidence, and provides insights to strengthen organizational defenses and compliance posture. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches. 

• Analyze logs, system artifacts, and evidence to determine root causes. 

• Support incident response and recovery activities. 

• Document findings for regulatory reporting and compliance (PCI, CIP, GDPR, CJIS). 

• Provide recommendations to enhance detection and response capabilities. 

Required Skills & Experience  

• Strong background in digital forensics and incident response. 

• Experience working with SIEM, forensic tools, and data analysis platforms. 

• Knowledge of PCI, CIP, GDPR, and CJIS compliance reporting. 

• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills. 

• Ability to work in high-pressure incident response environments.
