Job Description

A longstanding premier Food manufacturing company is seeking a Lead Mechanic Maintenance Technician (2nd or 3rd shift) to join their growing team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team that is developing groundbreaking products to support healthier living!

We are looking for a Leader that possesses the following skills:

• Proven leadership/supervisory experience
• Industrial Mechanic Maintenance experience (electrical experience a plus!)
• Food or Packaging GMP environment

Pay : $80k-$90k

Schedule : 2nd shift OR 3rd shift (OT as needed)

Type of Job: Direct Hire/Permanent

Lead Mechanic Maintenance Tech Essential Functions :

• Advance the goals of Safety, Quality, and Productivity in a food manufacturing environment
• Coach team members in proper troubleshooting techniques, maintenance, and repairs
• Actively pursue and correct problems with components and systems throughout the facility
• Thorough knowledge of automated packaging machinery operation, troubleshooting and repair; pump theory, operation, and repair; pneumatic principles, application troubleshooting and repair; hydraulic principles, application troubleshooting and repair
• Troubleshoot and repair controls systems including network problems associated with PC’s, PLC’s, and various man-machine interfaces
• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Work safely with both low and high voltage circuits and diagnose electric motor, motor control and device control problems.

Lead Mechanic Maintenance Tech Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Proven leadership/supervisory experience
• 5 years of related experience (industrial mechanic/electrical)
• Experience with food processing and packaging equipment preferred.
