Job Specifics

Location: 820 Arbutus Ave, Oconto, WI 54153
FTE Status: Part-time 20 hours/week
Work Schedule: Hours will vary. Working every 4th weekend, working holiday's as assigned.

:

• Responsible for performing lab tests, maintaining a safe environment, operating maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment, collecting and processing specimens, and serving as a reference and resource for lab customers.
• Sets and maintains standards of practice in a lab setting.
• Performs clerical duties as necessary and assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science required. Completion of Medical Laboratory Specialist training through the United States Military may be considered in lieu of degree.

American Society Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification required within one year of hire.

One year of experience in healthcare laboratory preferred.
