A leading commercial printer in the Cherry Hill, Maryland area is growing and looking for Offset Print Operators for their bindery. They print direct mail, newsletters, brochures, event programs, magazines, catalogs and books. The company needs one first (6 – 2 PM) and two second shift (2-10PM) operators. Schedules will be five-day/40 hour work weeks with opportunity for overtime. The company is offering between $30 and $40 per hour DOE. A comprehensive benefits package and generous PTO and Holiday pay are offered by the company. Applicants MUST have at least one year of offset press experience, ideally on a Sanden Press.
The Press Operator will operate the printing press from splicer to re-winder, setting, adjusting and replacing rollers, setting ink, pinholes and perfs, register and water, and performing basic maintenance and upkeep. The Press Operator will have a dedicated press helper. Production performance is reviewed regularly by management and is the basis for pay scales, interim bonuses, and overall success in the company.
