Qualifications

• General knowledge of financial markets and investment products, specifically in Trade Settlements (e.g., DTCC, Federal Reserve, Government, Municipal, and International Markets)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and flexibility
• Effective time management and prioritization of competing urgent tasks
• Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when needed
• Quick learner with the ability to apply new knowledge effectively
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
• Ownership mindset with a proactive approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Alteryx is a plus

Department Overview

The Operations division plays a critical role in supporting and enabling core business functions by ensuring the accurate settlement and recording of transactions. Key responsibilities include:

• Settling and recording millions of transactions daily
• Identifying and mitigating operational risks
• Building strong client relationships
• Partnering with technology teams to optimize IT and digital solutions
• Supporting the development of new businesses, products, and markets
• Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

Role Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including trade settlements across multiple asset classes and platforms
• Act as a liaison between financial advisors, branch management, compliance, risk teams, trading desks, and external counterparties
• Manage daily conflicting events and ensure resolution to minimize impact on business operations
• Perform suspense account reconciliation and ensure accounts are accurately balanced
• Participate in change initiatives and operational improvement projects
