Position Details:
Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system, providing expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems.

With more than half of the 259 beds in our teaching hospital devoted to intensive care level services, we are the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast. The Emergency Center at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital provides life-saving emergency care to children of all ages. As the only stand-alone Pediatric Trauma Center on the west coast of Florida, our team is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and their families.
Our Emergency Center is a 29 bed Unit, including:
- 2 Dedicated Trauma/Critical Care Rooms
- 8 "Quick Kid" rooms
- Designated "safe" room for mental health patients
- Approximately 45,000 visits per year

Position Summary:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information
Education/Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Medical Assistant (MA) certification, or one of the
following:
▪ A nursing student or LPN who has completed fundamental nursing skills coursework
▪ An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
o BLS certification provided by AHA
Salary Range: Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 26.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
