Position Summary

E-Carzz is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to own the weekly pricing of 50–100 vehicles across our active inventory. You’ll analyze market trends, vehicle-specific attributes, and regional dynamics to ensure our cars are priced to sell within 30–45 days — maximizing turn and gross profit.

Key Responsibilities

• Price vehicles weekly across multiple partner portfolios (100–300 units/week)
• Monitor real-time market data (e.g. vAuto, MMR, CarGurus, Black Book, etc.)
• Recommend retail pricing based on target turn time (30–45 days) and gross targets
• Track Market Day Supply (MDS), listing performance, and adjust pricing as needed
• Collaborate with operations and account managers to flag problematic inventory
• Build dashboards or pricing sheets using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools
• Run competitive analyses and provide actionable insights weekly
• Identify underpriced or overpriced segments and recommend pricing strategies

Qualifications

• 1 to 10 years plus of experience in pricing, data analysis, automotive, or e-commerce preferred
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic modeling)
• Familiarity with vehicle market tools like MMR, vAuto, or CarGurus preferred
• Highly analytical, comfortable with data and decision-making
• Strong organizational skills — able to manage weekly cycles with accuracy
• Passion for fast-paced environments and iterative improvement

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or SQL
• Prior exposure to vehicle remarketing or inventory management
• Experience with bulk inventory (dealers, rental fleets, auctions)
