Position Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Duration: 14 Weeks
Hours per Week: 34.5
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation as required
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and support staff
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Provide patient education and emotional support
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience
Education Requirements:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure:
Active New York State RN License

AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
NRP Certification
