Job : Salesforce Solutions Expert / Architect
Location : Raleigh, NC (Onsite / In-House)
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Expert/Architect to lead the design and delivery of the DCDEE Early Education Integration System . This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and user-focused Salesforce and integration solutions aligned with the organization s digital strategy. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with robust technical architecture and lead enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
Responsibilities
Architect and lead end-to-end Salesforce solutions , guiding technical strategy and execution
Collaborate with business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical leads, and developers to translate business requirements into cost-effective technical architectures
Design and implement complex API-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems
Ensure solutions comply with data security, performance, and scalability standards
Design and implement backup, recovery, and restore strategies
Identify and mitigate technical and architectural risks
Define best practices for using standard Salesforce functionality versus custom development
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation , including solution designs, data models, and architecture diagrams
Lead code reviews, design workshops, and release planning sessions
Support Agile delivery processes , including backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria definition
Assist with Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipeline implementation using appropriate release management tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and successful project delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect / Technical Architect
Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom applications)
Hands-on experience with API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, middleware tools)
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data governance, and compliance
Experience with enterprise system integrations and complex data models
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and release management tools
Strong leadership skills with experience in architecture design, code reviews, and technical decision-making
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Salesforce certifications (Architect, Platform Developer, Integration Architecture Designer, etc.)
Experience with large-scale or public-sector projects
Familiarity with DevOps and release automation tools (Copado, Gearset, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
