As part of a major multi-cloud Salesforce initiative, the company is expanding its onsite leadership capacity. They are seeking a Salesforce Technical Delivery Manager to serve as the hands-on driver of technical execution, cross-team alignment, and program velocity. This role is central to the success of ongoing Salesforce enhancements and enterprise-wide integrations. The engagement is a contract position estimated at 9–12 months, working onsite in King of Prussia, PA (3 days a week today, moving to 4).
The Role You’ll Play
This role serves as the day-to-day leader for technical delivery across the Salesforce program. You will coordinate requirements, development, integration activities, and testing, working closely with product owners, business stakeholders, offshore developers, QA teams, and the onsite technical leads. The work spans Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and planned CPQ expansion, with heavy emphasis on integration quality, governance, and delivery orchestration.
Own end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce projects, from requirements through deployment.
Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices, governance frameworks, and security standards.
Track requirements, UAT progress, training, communication, and milestone status across teams.
Coordinate development across onshore and offshore resources and resolve blockers proactively.
Review solution designs, identify requirement gaps, and guide architecture decision-making.
Oversee integration work with downstream systems and third-party platforms.
Manage data migration sequencing, user rollouts, validation cycles, and org-to-org movement.
Partner with product owners and managers to ensure business needs translate correctly into technical specifications.
Build consensus across global teams and keep delivery moving in a fast-paced environment.
Implement testing strategy and collaborate closely with QA on schedule and execution.
Monitor release readiness, compliance requirements, and cross-cloud dependencies.
Champion continuous improvement and help optimize CRM performance and user experience.
Background Profile:
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Salesforce delivery leader with deep technical understanding, strong communication skills, and demonstrated experience managing complex programs. You enjoy orchestrating multiple workstreams, guiding technical teams, and ensuring that business intent aligns tightly with delivered functionality.
12+ years in IT with at least 8 years in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Experience delivering multiple large-scale Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ).
Minimum of 5 Salesforce certifications (Admin, PD1/PD2, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Application Architect preferred).
Strong understanding of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.
Experience with data migration, MuleSoft or Informatica, CI/CD, and tools such as Copado, Data Loader, and DocuSign.
Proven leadership experience managing developers, admins, BAs, QA teams, and offshore resources.
Ability to track complex technical programs and ensure cross-team alignment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical detail to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices.
Exposure to Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and other multi-cloud environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (required).
