THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance, you will be responsible for the Corporate G&A financial planning and analysis, with a focus on HR, Legal, and Finance functions. You will collaborate closely with departmental leaders, providing analytical support and guidance on key business decisions, finance issues, and projects. This role will also be responsible for P&L expense planning, forecasting, and reporting delivering actionable insights that drive financial performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Annual planning, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting for particular areas of Chipotle's departmental in addition to departmental G&A.
  • Create and maintain rich reporting and data visualization to communicate complex business results & aid in the execution of Chipotle's plan.
  • Guide and influence departmental leadership to undertake strategic financial decisions that improve the economic model and help to fulfill Chipotle's vision.
  • Monitor variances to plan and forecast throughout the year, forecasting results, and presenting findings to appropriate parties.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for increased profitability or efficiency, presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop financial models, diagnostic tools, or new analytical methods to identify trends, interpret results, and optimize profit at the restaurant and corporate level.
  • Coordinate with all levels of leadership, from other analysts to officers, and various departments to assess needs for financial information, developing reports, analyses, and tools to meet those needs.
  • Guide and assist the FP&A team and department leaders in preparing annual budgets and strategic plans.
  • Present project results, recommendations, and solutions to all levels of leadership.
  • Utilize multiple sources of data to extract, analyze, and report on various items including Sales, ROI on a project, restaurant performance on certain key measures, and G&A spend, presents findings, making recommendations on next steps.
  • Educate non-finance partners at all levels of leadership on financial matters, policies, and business concepts to increase the business acumen of departmental leadership.
  • Ad-hoc financial and non-financial analysis supporting Chipotle's Legal, HR, Finance, & Executive Leadership groups.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in multi-unit retail or restaurant environments.
  • CFA/CPA or other related licenses preferred but not required.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong MS Office Suite knowledge.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM (including SmartView), PowerBI, and SQL is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and take ownership of priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to extract and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with ROI, profitability, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Skilled in presenting financial data to senior leadership and managing confidential information.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $99,000.00–$135,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
