Job Description

Highsnobiety is looking for a dynamic and creative part-time (2-3 day/week) Social Media Intern with a strong background in content creation. This role will lend assistance in content creation and platform management of our TikTok and Instagram channels, focusing on video content creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social-first strategies, is capable of shooting and editing video content, and has a deep passion for fashion, style, and cultural storytelling.

YOUR MISSION:

• Create original content: Assist in the ideation, planning, and execution of compelling video content for Instagram and TikTok. Assist in copyrighting for the Highsnobiety weekly collumn

• Collaborate with the Social and Editorial teams: Work closely with the editorial and social teams to create content that aligns with Highsnobiety’s voice, aesthetic, and storytelling goals.

• Stay on top of trends: Keep up with the latest trends, platform updates, and best practices for Instagram and TikTok to ensure our content remains fresh, innovative, and engaging.

• Post & manage content: Assist with the scheduling, publishing, and daily management of posts, ensuring consistency and quality across channels.

• Engage & grow community: Actively engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and keeping the conversation around our content and products alive.

YOUR SKILLS:

• A deep passion for creating engaging social-first content around the topics of fashion, style, and cultural storytelling.

• Sufficient experience with capturing video and photo, video and photo editing, and the ability to create visually compelling and trend-driven content.

• Must have experience using CapCut, Photoshop, InDesign, and DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok, and a deep knowledge of current trends, algorithmic changes, and best practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with creative teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail.

The range is based on many factors including location, experience, and relevant skill set. In addition to salary and an employee benefits package, successful candidates will be eligible for variable pay.
