Staff Accountant – Conway, AR (In-Office Role)

Bell & Company, P.A. is seeking a Staff Accountant with 1–3 years of recent public accounting experience to join our Conway office. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, mid-sized firm.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state tax returns (990, 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 5500) in UltraTax
• Prepare tax projections, payroll tax reports, and sales/use tax filings
• Process payroll and assist with 1099s/W-2s
• Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks
• Provide client services and administrative support as needed
• Stay current with CPE requirements and tax law updates
• Contribute to firm culture through collaboration and lifetime learning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 1–3 years of recent experience in public accounting required
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, bookkeeping, and accounting software
• Proficiency in the use of computer tax preparation, research, and tax planning software programs
• Excellent judgment, time management, and communication skills
• CPA license preferred, or willingness to work toward licensure (company benefits available)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, in person
