Structural Engineer – Precast Concrete (Civil/Structural Engineering)

Houston, TX | Full-time | Relocation Assistance Available

What You’ll Do

  • Design and oversee civil engineering projects across Industrial, Environmental, Storm Water, and Marine sectors.
  • Perform rebar design and structural engineering calculations for custom precast concrete components.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, CAD designers, estimators, contractors, and clients to meet project goals.
  • Support fabrication and installation by working directly with production and manufacturing teams.
  • Prepare and review detailed project documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Stay current on trends in precast concrete, engineering technologies, and construction practices.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months); PE preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with precast concrete and structural design.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communicator, self-starter, and dependable under pressure.
  • Previous internship or work experience in structural engineering or precast design is a plus.
