I'm recruiting on behalf of a respected and design-forward structural engineering firm based in Dallas, TX, currently seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a licensed PE with 4-7 years of experience who is eager to work on a diverse and technically challenging portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design and analysis from concept through construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase support.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • PE license (required) in Texas or ability to obtain promptly.
  • 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering for buildings.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, RISA, Revit).
  • Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and seismic design principles.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
  • Experience with seismic retrofit or performance-based design is a plus.
