Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.  

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing culinary pop-ups and themed events in residential dining halls.
• Brainstorm content ideas and execute content creation for UK Dining social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
• Collect and analyze consumer data from dining hall patrons and complete market research.
• Execute tabling promotions for new and potential students, meal plan sales, and other dining promotions.
• Assist with necessary marketing office functions (printing, laminating, organization, task fulfillment)

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Kentucky
• Previous marketing experience appreciated
• Outgoing and helpful demeanor
• High level of social intelligence
• Willingness to regularly interact with current and prospective students as well as parents
• Ability to work independently and follow verbal instructions

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Kentucky
• This internship is approved for ISC credit. Can be formatted for class credit with other majors as well.
