Job Description

Client: Leading Food Manufacturer
Role: SVP of Finance/CFO
Salary: $200K - $250K Base + Bonus
Location: Long Island, New York
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the company's financial goals and strategic direction, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Provide financial insight for strategic decisions
Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial stability
Manage relationships with key suppliers, to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
Experience with cost accounting and ERP implementation
Develop financial strategies that positively impact the business
Oversee financial reporting to ensure compliance with regulations and standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and QuickBooks a plus
Manage financial risks, oversee cost controls, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and profitability
Manage the company's capital, including funding, and debt management
Lead and oversee the finance and accounting teams
Strong financial planning, budgeting, and modeling experience
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
* 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in senior financial management roles (preferably CFO or VP of Finance) within the food manufacturing business
* MBA/CPA or CFA highly preferred
* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to effectively communication with stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, and investors
* In depth analytical skills
