Meadowview of Davenport, an assisted living campus in Davenport, IA, is hiring Caregivers (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team!  At Meadowview of Davenport , you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike.   Medication Management Certification Required.

As a Caregiver at Meadowview of Davenport , you will join our team of professional caregivers to become an important part of our residents' lives. We are seeking someone who is a team player and who is also comfortable working independently. 

Position Type: Part-Time or On-Call

Shifts Available:

Evenings: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Nights (NOC) 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

 

Location: 5330 Belle Ave, Davenport, IA 52807

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. 
• Medication Management Certification Required.
• A passion for geriatric care. 
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital. 
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
• Must be 18 years or older.
