Junior Loan Officer / Mortgage Loan Partner (LOA + Pipeline Manager) Precision Lending is a small, fast-moving mortgage brokerage (based in Bedford, NH, serving NH, MA, ME, NC, and FL) hiring a Remote Junior Loan Officer / Mortgage Loan Partner (LOA + Pipeline Manager). This role supports an experienced Loan Officer by handling the front end of the loan process (applications, credit, AUS findings, disclosures, and pre-approval setup) and then transitioning into pipeline communication management once the file is submitted to processing/underwriting. This is not a business development role. You will not be responsible for generating leads or self-sourcing business. • Location: Fully Remote • Availability: Evenings/weekends are critical for time-sensitive pre-approvals and active transactions • Volume: Approximately 7–10 closings/month currently (growing) • Compensation: $50,000 base salary + $500 per closed loan bonus (bonus eligibility tied to service scorecard/metrics) Responsibilities: Front-End (Application + Pre-Approval Setup)• Take complete mortgage applications (1003 intake) and build clean borrower profiles. • Pull credit, review liabilities, and run AUS findings (DU/LP workflow). • Collect and organize initial documentation needed for pre-approval (income, assets, employment, etc.). • Set up disclosures and ensure the file is accurately entered and organized. • Structure the file and prepare a pre-approval package for the Loan Officer review and sign-off . • Draft/prep pre-approval letters for delivery after final Loan Officer approval. Pipeline Management (After Handoff to Processing/Underwriting)• Serve as the “everyone is aligned” communication lead for: • Borrowers • Buyer’s agents + listing agents • Processor and internal team • Other parties as needed (insurance/closing contacts, etc.) • Provide proactive timeline/status updates so clients and agents always know what’s next. • Identify issues early, communicate clearly, and escalate quickly to keep files moving. • Maintain a high-service client experience from accepted offer through closing. Note: The processor handles underwriting conditions, VOEs, title, and standard processing tasks. Your focus is on file readiness up front and elite communication/coordination throughout the pipeline. Service Scorecard (Bonus-Eligible Performance) • Consistent, proactive communication and fast response times • Clean file setup and smooth handoffs • Review requests sent to closing clients and strong client satisfaction outcomes Qualifications: Required • Prior mortgage experience in a role such as LOA, Junior LO, front-end processor, or similar . • Comfortable taking full applications, pulling credit, and running AUS findings. • Strong working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA loans (Non-QM exposure is a plus). • Extremely organized, fast-moving, and able to manage multiple active files simultaneously. • Friendly, energetic, solution-focused, and consistently positive under pressure. • Strong written and verbal communication with clients and real estate agents. • Must be comfortable with time-sensitive evening/weekend availability.
