Due to an upcoming retirement, the Credit Union is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to continue with the mission and direction of this member and employee focused institution, as their next Chief Executive Officer . The selected candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, planning and oversight of all credit union activities in accordance with credit union policies as established by the board of directors. The new CEO must have the ability to work collectively with the board and management to continue with the mission and values of the organization to ensure the continued financial health of the organization. The focus will be preparing the Credit Union for the future. Additional duties will be to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of all operations, leading change where necessary; develop and maintain organizational structure; and develop and retain effective, member focused and accountable leaders. The CEO will also represent the Credit Union in the community and membership, to regulatory agencies, unions, civic organizations, and trade associations.
This leader will be a strategic thinker, possess a proven track record of success, a high level of integrity and trust, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented approach to management and respect for the credit union philosophy. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience at the executive management level in a financial institution preferred.
