Job Description

The Nurse independently provides routine and complex care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation and managing long-term goals. They delegate tasks appropriately and develop skills to handle contingencies.

• Meets competency expectations by utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education to patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effects, and documents care and patient history.
• Requirements include a BSN preferred, 1+ year of related experience, RN licensure, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications within specified timeframes.
• Newly hired RNs attend orientation, are precepted, and must complete competency validations. Perinatal RN experience or residency is preferred.
• Work schedule is 7 PM - 7 AM, full-time position.
