Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 2 Location: Mossville, IL Zip Code: 61552 Duration: 24 Months Pay Rate: $30.87/hr. Keyword's: #Mossvillejobs; #MechanicalEngineerjobs; Start Date: Immediate Job Responsibilities:

• Create design concepts and drawings of electric generators and motors that meet functional and technical requirements, cost goals, quality initiatives and manufacturing process requirements.
• Utilize Clients engineering tools (CREO, Teamcenter, PRWB, EDS etc) to design concepts and release drawings
• Intake issue requests from the field, manufacturing and supply chain and resolve accordingly after thorough root cause investigation and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers, manufacturing facilities, engineering partners
• Support prototype build, test and validation activities.
• Support APQP activities.

Skills:

• Team player and detail oriented.
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
• Analytical skills, initiating ideas, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
• Knowledge of engineering principles, theory, and engineering experience gained through projects, internships, and/or relevant work experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly acquire and apply new skills and knowledge
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience Required:

• Years of experience: 1-5
• Degree requirement: BS ME or Agriculture (accredited institution)
