Job Description

The Network Documentation Specialist will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating all network-related documentation. This role involves encoding processes, procedures, configurations, and network topology in a clear and organized manner to ensure that all teams have access to current and accurate information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, designs, and configurations.

  • Collaborate with network engineers to gather information for new projects and updates.

  • Ensure documentation is user-friendly and structured for easy retrieval and understanding.

  • Conduct regular reviews of existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Create diagrams and visuals to enhance understanding of complex network relationships and setups.

  • Provide training sessions to team members on how to utilize documentation effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network documentation or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Confluence, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to organize complex information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a team environment.
