**IMMEDIATELY HIRING!** **APPLY NOW!** Currently hiring for a **FULL TIME** job opportunity located in the Pottstown, PA area for a shipper role. We are seeking a dedicated Shipper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating forklifts, shipping, and palletizing. The role involves handling customer orders, measuring materials, and ensuring the smooth packaging and transport of goods. This is a LONG TERM job opportunity, FULL TIME, and WEEKLY PAY! **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down forklifts to load steel plates onto trucks for shipping. + Follow customer orders accurately in the shipping process. + Palletize products and transport them throughout the shipping department. + Read and measure diameters using a tape measure up to 1/32 inch. + Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa. + Measure and prepare steel plates, grinding and deburring imperfections. + Package products in correctly sized boxes or containers. + Complete necessary shipping paperwork, including bills of lading. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Learn and distinguish different grades and gauges of material. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of experience in forklift operation (sit down). + Experience in shipping and following customer orders. + Ability to read and measure using a tape measure. + Experience in palletizing. + Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
