Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee distribution operations, inventory accuracy, and process improvements during the designated shift. This role is responsible for mentoring and training associates, optimizing warehouse efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company standards.

The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage KPIs, drive process improvements, and foster a positive team culture. Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred to facilitate effective communication. Key Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the distribution operations for the designated shift.
  • Responsible for mentoring, training, and development of Associates.
  • Responsible for leading and executing KPI’s; identifying key customer issues that are critical to quality (CTQ).
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy and process improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize warehouse processes to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to warehouse operations.
  • Supervises all receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities performed by warehouse associates.
  • Maintains a high degree of visibility and access to associates on the warehouse floor throughout the shift.
  • Establishes and maintains department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.
  • Ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by associates.
  • Administrative duties include preparing required reports and correspondence.
  • Manages personnel issues to include determining manpower needs and training.
  • Trains, motivates, coaches, disciplines associates being supervised, and assists in the resolution of personnel issues.
  • Oversees the housekeeping activities.
  • Foster a positive working environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
  • Supports Safety Programs and best practices. Actively supports and participates in the Safety and Behavioral Based Safety Committees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager and/or Operations Manager.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new warehouse staff.

  • Perform daily inventory checks and update records to ensure accurate stock levels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-7 years supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English is a plus, but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA Degree preferred
  • Proven success in maintaining quality, service, and client relationships in a high-paced setting.
  • Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment.
  • Proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with WMS, LEAN/Six Sigma, inventory management, project leadership, and team building is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate logically, persuasively, and accurately, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate on a one-to-one basis and before groups to obtain or provide information.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments from minimal information or under general instructions.
  • Ability to work under pressure of time and conflicting demands.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, others.
